Works from the box!
Bought this for my son's 1/12 scale lighthouse which I built. Installed easily (once I got the polarities the right was round ;-). Trickiest bit was soldering the connections to the tiny switch I had (I have big fingers). Once installed, my son was delighted with the effect . . . and so was I!Andy (2 Dec 2025, 18:10)

Mini-lights for our model lighthouse
We purchased a miniature lighthouse for the garden. After fitting the mini light my wife liked it’s realisilam so much it is now on the windowsill now purchased another one for garden. Highly recommend this unit it makes it realistic.Michael Still (10 Aug 2021, 14:31)
